Well the billionaire thing hasn't worked out yet so I'm back to fuzzing out pixel errors today. I find the pixel, dead or whatever it shows white, will be intermitent but always in the same place on the same camera. I assume that means that the camera has a sensor issue and the camera software etc.. is doing some sort of internal compensation that merges neighboring pixels to cover the error but whatever the algorithm is it has a dynamic quality that would account for the intermittent nature of the pixel error in the final media file. Does this make sense? I recall learning about Sony cameras that would analyze themselves and to determine pixel issues in the sensor and then they would use the data to compensate for the missing pixel information. Do today's cameras use similar software/hardware and would that lead to intermittent dead pixels in the final image file?
