Eyeheight also make a legaliser plugin which seems to work very well.

Consider an investment in the Baselight Editions plug-in. Great colour correction, within Avid, if you want it but also a 'soft clip to legal' option that seems, to my eyes, to work very nicely as the 'brickwall limiter' at the end of the chain. They have a 30 day trial.
Without BLE then I default my Avid CCR master curve to 16-16 and 235-235 - which seems to keep all adjustments RGB legal. But then most of what I make goes straight to air, bypassing any QC concerns (well, there would still be bitching if it weren't RGB legal, I just wouldn't have to do anything about it :-).
