How can this totally established multigroup workflow not work on an interplay system. We do it on medianet unity 5's every day. It take about 3 days to properly group a days worth of material. Some AEs use a macro some don't. It is the price of admission for this type of show. I'd be curious to know why an interplay setup is less functional in this regard than a unity medianet 5 and even the older unities. That doesn't seem right to me but then an OKI Dog doesn't seem right to some so perhaps I need to be educated on interplay shortcommings.

It is simply not feasible to do it like this, those milions of subclips will kill their interplay.
Playback speed on multicam has not been an issue before, they are doing multicam with 9 streams of DNxHD@120Mbps, with dual connected clients on ISIS 5000.
What is annnoing is the fact that you cannot multicam seqeunces, and the fact that only 24 audio tracks are allowed in sequence.
I will suggest them to ingest everything in EVS, but they will not love this since it will require wireless transmiters from camera. Then there will be a lot of wasted space, since it could be that only 2 or 3 camera have action on it, but the rest have to be recorded to keep it in sync.
