Telestream purchased CPC (Computer Prompting & Captioning) last year. CPC developed CaptionMaker/MacCaption. They also had a good prompting program. I've used both for a long time.
I share this experience not for the utility of their software products, rather for the concern I have regarding Telestream's "customer service" approach.
I discovered, when I needed support on their prompting software, that the product had been discontinued - without notice to registered end-users. Total and complete discontinuation, no support, no apologies, no resolution if/when your dongle fails/is lost/or stolen.
While the same discontinuation probably wont happen with CaptionMaker/MacCaption, their total disregard for the needs of long standing customers really torqued me.
