Dongle updates must now be done via app manager as dongle manager won't set the service contract expiry date so 8.3 won't run. And yes via app manager you get a single dongle versioner file from your master avid account that updates you to symphony. With the old app manager prior to v8.3 you had to versioner files to run. One to update MC one to add the symphony option. But tgat doesn't apply now with v8.3
