It may be an audio issue. Try subclipping out the video only and transcoding that. If it works, the issue is with the audio. You could use Quicktime Pro or another program to strip the audio and import it separately then, and just sync them back together in Avid.

I tried to import overnight but after 12 and a half hours I got one file. I need to start cutting today. Rebooted linked via AMA and tried to transcode just one file but got the same error. WTF?? Why am I getting this? I have never worked with ProRes proxy files so I'm not in my element here.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.
