Just an update on this. I have spent quite a bit of time on it. I found it odd I got little response so I guess no one really gets this request too often. There are a few ways to put an active link on a QT movie. Using a mac, one is with text edit and then adding a text layer in QT pro. The other, oddly very easy, is with Compressor.
Went through the Peach pit tutorial and it was amazing that I actually got a clickable link onto my master movie. Two issues, small issue is I have an ugly black bar with the hyperlink on it, (I tried to change to white in the code box by changing values for back color but it did nothing.)
But the bigger issue is, the link works in the movie when I add it in. But then I export the movie to prores and the link does not work in the QT movie. what happens in export or is there an export setting to keep the text layer active?Lou

I am in QT Pro and not seeing much to add active links. I can't open a text doc in QT pro as was described in an instructional site on doing this so the first step of the process is a bust. Does QT pro have other options?

Hi
I have a client who is asking that the url on the graphic at the end of the video be clickable. Have not had this request before. Can this even be don in Avid? If not, how is this done?
thanks
