Re: [Avid-L2] AMA Media Database folder on a PC?

Don't know the PC question, but yes, every time I have the "There were errors linking AMA files." error, I just trash the AMA Management folder and I'm good to go. No restart or relaunch required.

Hi Gang,

I'm hoping to obtain the file path on a PC
to the AMA Databases, which Avid places inside a folder named "AMA Metadata Folders."
Based on the Mac path (below), I could make an educated guess, but if anyone can verify
the path on a PC, that would be über helpful!

The file path on a Mac is:

Users >
Shared >
AvidMediaComposer >
AMA Management >
AMA Metadata Folders.

And on a related note:
Has anyone trashed these and had success with relinking AMA media?
Do they rebuild like we're used to in the Avid MediaFiles folder (I'm asking before I try it)?

Thanks in advance L2ers,

B
