The issue with the cloud is compounded in places with hefty data caps or intermittent web (eg Bangkok).

It's great that it's coming i like the idea but in reality didn't media composer just triple in cost? I don't care personally I think it was all getting too cheap to be sustainable but resolve is free and CC is so massive.

I'll reserve judgement until I see the new features. 4k is vital as is resolution independent timeline if avid is to stay in the game. Offline quality cloud based compression works in some scenarios but not in tvc land anymore.
