I seem to remember it working with Firefox.  I'll give it a go later tonight and report. I could be delusional about it.

From some quick Googling, I see that this is a common issue.
So, I'm wondering:

Has anyone been able to get the Background Queue for Media Services _activity_ 
to display in a browser (outside of Media Composer)?
I've tried it with Safari and Chrome with no luck.
For reference:
This is supposed to work without MC even running, by selecting "Open Bkgd Queue" from the "Background Services Manager" menu (green arrows) at the top of a Mac monitor. 

Also: Bkgd Queue activity _does_ display for me in MC's internal Bkgd Queue Window (from Tools menu).

I'm on:
MC 7.0.2
OS 10.8.5
MBP 2.5 GHz, i7, 16GB RAM
