Main reason is render time.
Second - integration.
Third - tools!
Fourth, but not last - freedom for resolution!
I'm from this guys, who preferably doing Color Grading on separate.
Even installed on the same machine. Nucoda FilmMaster for example, have a blazing good tools and
clear and simple integration with Avid.
