To be specific did you get new files from the client with the contents folder and everything necessary or did you somehow build your own? There was mention of a BPAV folder in the thread, I believe that's with sony material, your material was Canon XF judging by the subject.

I asked him (4th time asking the same thing, with very explicit instructions each time) to copy and upload the Contents folder and everything inside of it. So, he *finally* gave me *everything* inside the Contents folder, which finally gave me the INDEX.MIF file (I guess the JOURNAL folder is not mandatory -- I believe it's something created only on the Mac OS). I then created my own CONTENTS folder (because he still didn't follow instructions) and I tucked everything inside it. When I couldn't AMA link to the CONTENTS folder, I put it inside another folder (which a labeled CANON_CARD_NAME) and successfully AMA linked to that.
For a variety of reasons, including the wacky Avid website, and its rather unclear instructions, this whole process took about 8 times longer than it should have. But what was I expecting? It's post! ;)
But thanks to Axel and Bruno, the process was made shorter than if I did not have their help.
Cheers,
