Re: [Avid-L2] Canon XF105 AMA Questions

Hello L2 Gang!

I'm very happy to report that with Axel's and Bruno's very helpful assistance,
I was able to finally get the Canon XF150 test files to AMA link.

WHY IT DID NOT WORK INITIALLY:
The client did not simply copy the CONTENTS folder and all items inside as instructed. They decided to get tricky and give me only the folders for each clip, without also giving me the CONTENTS folder and the important INDEX.MIF file.

SUCCESS INGREDIENTS on a Mac, MC version 7.0.2:
Once I had the structure correct, it was just a matter of pointing in the correct way.
First, I created a folder, which I generically labeled as "CANON_CARD_NAME."
I placed the CONTENTS folder and its enclosed items inside of that.
I then AMA linked by pointing to the folder labeled as "CANON_CARD_NAME."
Here's a picture of the winning folder structure (and the successfully linking test clips, so the client could see):

Thanks again Axel and Bruno, you helped me a lot today!
And Viva la L2! ;)

Cheers,
Benjamin

Info Tab says that here is v2.0 installed

Thanks for that too Axel.
I have the same plug-ins that you do,
so it's looking more and more like the client didn't
send everything as I had discussed (several times) with him.

Thanks again Axel and Bruno for helping!

Cheers,

Benjamin
