Having seen how Resolve has improved my money would be firmly on BMD.

YMMV I admit that I didn't keep hounding them like I do about other things but I've never thought of or found tech support particularly good with BlackMagic. Perhaps things have changed for the better. I'd rather AJA bought avid from a tech support angle.
