Wow I like all Da Knobs on Da Resolve cause it makes Da Picture look better. What's this got to do with Da DaVinci guy? Guess I better read Da Book you wrote again. ;-)

Color correct the camera original files there, render them. The big unanswered question is how will you be finishing? If you're doing a 2K or 4K master, then you can't go back to Avid after Resolve. You need to either finish the editing in the latest version of Resolve, which has "on-line" capabilities now, or go to some other editor - like Smoke or Quantel to finish. Otherwise, render back to DNxHD at the highest colorspace and resolution from Resolve and then send the AAF from the Resolve to the Avid to relink to the newly rendered high-res files. Depending on other factors, go to DNxHD 220x or something.
