I've been burned with these devices so make sure they are set up properly. I got burned when all the offline media that was recorded on the Pix240 out of a Red camera was 2 frames off from the Red Raw. This is not to say the unit is defective but there are audio and time code delay adjustments to make them frame accurate to the Camera Raw files but this needs to be tested and researched. For a straight record I guess that doesn't matter but if you are recording both internally on the camera and externally on the Pix 240 be mindful to make sure the two are frame accurate to each other.
