Avid is looking for a Marketing Program Manager, Customer Association to join our team based in Burlington, MA headquarters.

What is the Avid Customer Association? 

Continuing with a heritage of leadership and vision, our launch of the Avid Customer Association (ACA) is an unmatched initiative in the media industry designed to provide essential strategic leadership, collaboration with industry leaders and visionaries, and a forum to address the most important issues facing the media industry.

Run by and for the media community, the ACA is comprised of focused Advisory Councils representing different areas of the media industry (broadcast, audio, video). These groups are led by Avid users and customers who are dedicated to addressing future industry strategy.

Marketing Program Manager, Customer Association is a key role supporting this strategic initiative. Reporting to the Director, Customer Association, in this role you will manage Customer Association activities, evaluates and reviews program and new opportunities.

Primary responsibilities:
- As a member of the Marketing Team you will aid in driving a successful Customer Association program.
- Develop objectives and strategies for overall effectiveness and execution of Customer Association activities.
- Manage execution of projects and marketing plans.
- Work with internal and external resources to execute plan and achieve goals within corporate budgets and timeframes.
- Work with internal and external resources on calendar of events and schedules throughout the year.
- Prepare ROI evaluations of activities.
- Work with Corporate Events team on coordination and leverage of Customer Association and industry events.
- Work with Customer Association leadership to coordinate logistics.
- Manage campaigns to drive program membership.
- Work with external partners to drive sponsorship.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Marketing or Business Administration, MBA a plus
• Minimum of 5-7 years of related business experience, including sales, marketing, and/or business operations experience
• Experience working across various functions is important
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com (Campaigns, Dashboards, Reports)
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage to deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proactive and strong problem solving skills
• Strong project management skills
