RE: [Avid-L2] RE: Avid Customer Association?

 

I am a bit mystified; I must have missed a memo but I can't see where it says Avid are charging for this. I have been invited to attend. No mention of money was made. Just a sincere and clear request to join them to give them a solid piece of our collective mind. I would have thought that would appeal to the members of this list. Can someone send the link where it is announced that there is a cost associated with the Association?

Quite frankly it's incredibly insulting. Avid right now needs all the friends it can get and changing for "customer input" is just the sort of thing that will drive folks AWAY and NOT towards Avid. And this at a time when Adobe has made a serious misstep with the subscription-only model. But I don't doubt that Avid will quickly follow that lead.
