I really like a small app called reaper. My son showed it to me AFTER I has bought him protools - less latency and about hundred bucks. Which reminds me - he never paid me back for the bass amp or the protools mbox thing.

At this point it's more like "Doesn't ProTools have a video editing app?"
Seriously, the difference between Audition and ProTools is cost of the app and the plugins required to do this AND more important, ease of use. I taught myself how to clean up audio using Audition with a little help from watching some demos of it at NAB. Would ProTools require something like the SoundSoap plugin to do this without EQ?SteveOn Dec 11, 2013, at 11:27 AM, "Mikeparsons.tv" <mikeparsons.tv@gmail.com> wrote:Doesn't avid make an audio application?
