It always has perplexed me how few editors actually use Avid FX. Some don't
even realize it's in Avid FOR FREE!!!.
For all those who always complain about the poor Avid effects mode, it
would be worth your while to invest a little time learning it.

THIS one kept blowing me away with each new feature that the demo artist (Paul Ezzy) showed. I had absolutely no idea that Avid FX (Boris RED) had this capability. It's a 3D "trailer" title animation that STARTS using just a JPEG of "The Hobbit" title treatment "stuck" on a white background.
Bravo Boris. Nice work Paul.
