[Avid-L2] Re: Avid to Premiere

PS: I'm not exactly sure what you mean here. ALEXA files that are PR4444 set the black and white points the same as any Rec 709 color mapping. So it's simply a flatter gamma profile for the Log-C, and you have better chroma subsampling at 444 instead of 422. It's still "studio swing".

In fact, you can choose ProRes4444 or ProResHQ on the ALEXA and there's no problem in mixing these. If you apply a LUT, it expands these levels back out to Rec 709. Or you can get there by manual color correction adjustments, too.
