Back when the notice that legacy versions of Avid would be removed because of jave licensing I downloaded every mac software I could. Today I copied 5.5.4, 6.0.4 and 6.5.4 or whatever the latest and greatest of MC to my flash drive and took it to work. None of the disk images would open giving me an error that something was wrong. I then downloaded me 6.5.4, which took 4 hours due to our slow internet. Then opening that disk image an error said there was an issue but would I like to open it anyway. Saying yes and the folder opened but then about a 1/3rd of the way into the install the computer vaporized. This happened 3 time. I then took a copy of mc 6.0.3 I had downloaded months ago and it worked fine. I'm going to redownload and try again tomorrow but has anyone experienced any issues with their legacy downloaded versions? I had multiple downloads going when I did the marathon protection copies but I never tried them until today. Just curious if others have had issues. My job tonight has great pipes and what takes 90 minutes at home to download take like 12 minutes here so I'm going to grab the latest versions again for tomorrow.
