 Well, if this is just proof of concept, and you don't want to spend anything, export as a QT movie, open with QT 7 (you'll need the Pro version) and then select export as QT movie. Under options/filter, you will find the ability to add sepia, film grain, hairs, dust, etc. Then make that QT and bring back into Avid.
