[Avid-L2] FCP rendering to Avid ISIS 4.2+

 

Hello all:

Posted this a while back, and we're still seeing this issue...and it;s repeatable.  Any input?

Avid ISIS (4.2 and 4.5, running on a 5000 chassis), along with FCP 7.03.  OS 10.8.x and 10.7.x.

Mac ISIS client user has full R/W privileges, and no quota issues.

When FCP scratch disks are set to the ISIS workspace, Renders never finish; "FILE NOT FOUND" errors.  Also, when using Bars and Tone generator, media appears white.

This screams to me permissions issues, but there are none that we can find.

Troubleshooting:

Trash FCP Prefs

New Mac OS User

New Workspace on ISIS

New ISIS user

New OS Build

Repair OS permissions

...no dice.  If scratch drives are set local, everything is a-ok.

ISIS 4.5 readme says that FCP 7.03 is qualified with 10.6.x and 10.7.x..

Anyone seen issues?
