I use Skype on my iPad. Same as what Steve Hullfish recommended using a DV camera. Point and shoot the Video monitor and crank up the volume on the mixer.
It is not elegant but it works. The two films I'm working on are low budget and they can't justify spending any money on a monthly service until the funding comes in.
I tried some screen sharing solutions like GoToMeeting, but they didn't like working with the Sumphony in dual computer monitor mode and were too difficult on the client end to get working consistently.
