I've walked out 3 sessions in my career. But none in the last 15 years at least. Life is too short to take crap from anybody.

I seriously don't get it.
In 30 years as an editor the only abuse I've ever had is being made to
stay all night for fake deadlines and being forced to chase my money for
6 months.
In almost every contract I ever negotiated I've had a 'no assholes'
clause where if the client is one I get to hand back his tapes and show
him the door. Life's too short to deal with stupidity. I've thrown 3
clients out in my career, one of those was because he kept offering my
17 year old runner coke, one was literally taken away in a little van
after having a breakdown in my suite and the other was just a genuine
asshole who pushed me too hard for no reason.
I work well with people but I do demand respect for my professional
abilities and myself as a person. I would have thrown both of these
people out of my suite in a heartbeat.
