Issues folks with Mac OS X 10.9 and MC and PT.  

 

We posted a do NOT upgrade note to the forums and social media sites and have the following KB article which outlines what might happen if you do forge ahead.


Why anyone would forge ahead without checking first baffles me :)

Instead of the manual method, you can use Lion Disc Maker - it's still has that name because it started when Apple switched to download only. It'll help you make the USB installer in no time/no hassle.

I just downloaded it from the App store and it tried to run the
installer after it downloaded. At that opening screen, I just Quit the
install app. Cmd-Q. Now, (presumably -- haven't checked yet), I've got
the download sitting there unused.
