Ah yes my favorite session where the producer grabbed the jog wheel while I was on the phone dealing with my home alarm that had been triggered. Later he told me, "This would go a lot faster if you held your finger closer to the mark in button." Finally when I asked him to not tell me where to put my hands he jumped up and screamed, "Then act like an editor and edit damn it. That's what I'm paying you for."
Too bad he didn't realize I was good friends with the executive producers who hired him. Years later I heard he curled up in the fetal position during a session at the Post Group and lost it. Most editors I tell that story to are more mad than I was. When someone is so over the top I know it's got little to do with me and they must be going through something far beyond the edit bay. Still no fun stuck in a room with a bone head but then I'm sure many producers have felt the same way about me. ;-)
