Ya, sending TC to audio is pretty straightforward and I'm happy to work that way. But in my small world, productions shooting on a 5Dm3 almost always don't want TC…They're happy with a guide track or final audio on camera. And though I point them to VideoToolShed, the folks that go that way now tend to shoot on different cameras.
So many cameras, so little time(code)...
