I've honestly never understood why some editors have this kind of preference as to platform. Who cares if you press Ctrl +C or Cmd +C? The result's the same either way.
I could understand if one platform was faster, or more stable, but fashion? Oh please - it's a tool.
Since Avid EOL'd their only decent finishing tool I'm considering moving to AD, and all their serious products run on Linux. Now I know absolutely zilch about Linux but there again I couldn't care less. All I want to know is what button I press to achieve a certain function. I'm completely platform agnostic when it comes to my tool of choice and it has always baffled me when I see editors who aren't.
What's the problem that I'm missing?
Tony
