[Avid-L2] Re: Avid Laptop

"I'm going to have to work until the moment I fall over dead."

While this may be true I've been taught, "I GET to work until the moment I fall over dead." Simple linguistics aside it makes some of the pain go away some of the time. And now I GET to do more blurs and tweaks so I can finally GET to color correct my current project. Wow I feel better already, well maybe a little better. Maybe in the long run I GET to fall over dead and that's the pay off. WOO HOO!!! Somehow I don't think I'm making my point here. ;-)

Perhaps it depends on your market, offline v.s. online, etc. The fact is that in my market, no matter how fast I get, I can never edit fast enough. There's always more work pushing me to speed up. So yes, my tools matter, because every damn second counts. The fact that Apple allows me to use my opposable thumb also makes it easier on my body, and that's important too, since I'm going to have to work until the moment I fall over dead.
