[Avid-L2] RE: Re: A goodbye; Selling my copy of MC7 + Dongle

 

Of course this has been mentioned before but maybe it's time to remind Avid of the obvious, at least to those of us who concentrate on finishing. If Baselight or Resolve color correction was integrated into the Relational color correction, that Avid already has the metadata hooks for, there would be no reason to mess around with all the tedium of round tripping etc... Avid would own the vast majority of finishing work of broadcast/cable television. Last minute changes are the norm for all my work and the ping ponging in and out of Avid is a major time waster so I stick with symphony color correction. If I had fully integrated baselight or resolve it would be a no brainer for a workflow.
