I've updated my system drive after cloning from 10.6.8 to 10.8.3 and haven't had any noticeable issues come up. Symphony 6.5.3 CS 6 Mocha Magic bullet Sapphire and Tiffen seem to work. But I haven't hit the 3rd party plugins too hard.
