Found an interesting one today. If we AMA link or import an H.264 movie with window burn into a 23.98 project (Mac or PC, 6.5 or 7.0.2) Avid skips frame 22 and doubles the first frame of the next incoming second.
Everything is in sync over the length of the movie, but the frames are missing and doubled at every second.
All the frames are visible in QT Pro which also says the movie is 23.98.
Converting to DNxHD in QT Pro and then bringing into Avid works perfectly.
