The codec is definitely broken. You'll get different results if you AMA
or Fast Import (neither of which use Quicktime) or if you do a
'standard' import (which does use Quicktime).

I'm assuming that because MC doesn't rely on Quicktime for QT import,
that's why Avid have been so terribly slow at fixing their broken
codec. In fact 'terribly slow' is another of those polite European
euphemisms.
