No one is pimping the Intel SSD drives? Too pricey?

It's smart to be asking which brand/model of solid-state drives is most reliable.

And maybe even wiser to ask if SSDs are any more reliable than HDDs after all.

There's a lot of anecdotal evidence and reporting suggesting they are not. That they eliminate some causes of failure but introduce new ones

At the very least you'll still need redundancy and a good backup plan. Lou might agree.

And it's interesting that Apple is ditching SSD technology in the new MacPros, in favor of PCI express flash memory.
