This IS the Avid L2: [Avid-L2] Re: Obvious, but not so obvious, bonus in 7.x

What about the ability to run earlier versions of software. I thought the V7 dongle was only good back to V6 so I wouldn't be able to run 5.5.3.7 once I updated my dongle. Is that still true?
