Re: [Avid-L2] Help - converting ProRes to DNxHD on a PC

 

Michael,

Thank you for the suggestion of using Premiere. Worked perfectly. I guess I
should know better than to assume when someone tells me they are prores
files that they are. They were uncompressed 10bit .mov files. Premiere
handled them perfectly and exported them out as DNxHD.

John,

Ironically I downloaded and installed the blackmagic software today to do a
disk speed check. You were right, I pulled up the uncompressed 10-bit .mov
files and they open in QT.

Thank you all again for your help. The L is still the best resource out
there and a great community of us all helping each other.
