[Avid-L2] Re: AutoSync sequence with motion FX turns to sub clip will not translate to online

If I read this correctly step 1 is creating a traditional motion effect clip. What if the motion effect is created using the newer time warp motion effect or could you take the motion effect cut into a sequence (step 2) and promote it to a timewarp motion effect before autosyncing it.

In checking the help manual autosyncing is a function between audio and video clips. There is no mention of autosyncing a sequence that I saw. What if you take the motion effect clip created from the master clip and use that clip and the audio clip to perform the autosync. I am not clear what you are trying to autosync as there is no mention of an audio clip. I must be confused.

Under the Tools menu if I bring up the "Motion Effect Editor" the Symphony does not recognize it as a motion effect. I can advance by frame and look at the timecode metadata behave like a motion effect. If I park the blue position indicator on the sequence, activate the video track and use the matchframe button, a sub clip loads in to the source monitor. If I park on the sub clip and use the matchframe button, a master clip is loaded.
