I live in Camtasia.
Yes - set the record option to AVI (don't forget to set the framerate also
under option) and you are good to go for AMA link.
The only downfall of AVI is that you cannot take advantage of all the other
camtasia features which you may or may not require.
camrec allows for simultaneous screen and webcam record as well as
recording system sounds (if you record Skype or tutorials where system
sounds are required)
If you do record camrec you can always transcode the media to DNXhd QT in
Camtasia Studio.
