Hey there..... my name in the title helped me key right in on this one :)
In order to upgrade the license from whatever version you buy to a higher version - you need to know the registered users name. In addition, the registration allows us to send you info if you elected to Opt In which you wouldn't get if it wasn't officially "your" system...
