I'm shopping for a new (PC) laptop and willing to spend a little more for one suitable for MC 6.5 and eventually MC 7 use while on remote productions.
Based on prices derived from on-line custom builds on both manufacturers websites, Dell's mobile workstations seem to offer more for the money compared to HP's.
I've been very impressed with the performance, stability and durability of HP's XW8000 series and Z800 series of desktop workstations but I've never used either manufacturers mobile workstations.
I welcome experienced based feedback on their mobile platforms to help determine which might be the better supplier.
