Well today I was once again reminded of where I fit in the earning food chain. After a house flood, uh I mean water intrusion, because that's covered not flooding I had to have someone come out to clean the ventilation system a.k.a ducts, furnace etc... Sure they have a cool van with a big ass vacuum tube to suck out the ducts but in less than an hour there was almost a $900.00 bill. Once again I'm realizing I'm not in a business that's going to make me rich, comfortable yes, rich no. I am starting to see more penny pinching on the online side these days. I know it's been discussed here before that editors' wages have been stagnant for a long time. I'm curious how others on the list are seeing the prevailing trends in rate reductions. Bait and Tackle shop is starting to look more attractive each and every day. ;-)
