[Avid-L2] Re: MC7 looks great!

Dave,

Part of the Avid users frustration is from the fact the here comes BM and took a great product, made it cheaper and getting better (and for free) every month and on top of that the MC color works great (for the price/features) with Resolve.

Avid Color correction at this stage can't take advantage of the of the options a color board can give you.
Some people/producers care about the tools or the name that attached to them, but some only care that the job get done on budget/time. (there are still a lot of places in town using FCP 3 wheel color tool to finish a show), and that used to be the strange of using the Avid, not leaving the application and making last minute changes. And even with the new resolve 10 this is not going to be changing soon. Most people/shows will not want to check or have the time to re-conform broadcast show cut on Avid in any other application. However, we do need those tools that exist in other applications to make our images better and the workflow faster.
It seems that if BM is able to do it, one expect AVID to do the same.
if not base-light plug-in should be fully implemented inside MC 7, it is already have the same price tag.
