[Avid-L2] Re: Automatic frame rate / motion effect

In my current project 1080i/59.94 I ama linked to clips with the Video Column=DVCPro HD (720p/60), Field Motion Column=Progressive and the Format Column=HD 1080p/23.976.

I transcoded to DNX 220 and the resulting clips show Video Column=DNxHD 220 (HD1080i), Field Motion Column=2:3 Film and Format Column=HD 1080i/59.94..

Stepping through the transcoded clips shows perfect cadence with A frames on :00 and :05 like it should be. This keeps my entire project out of the mixed frame rate cluster flop that can happen. During transcoding it's a blast watching the activity monitor shoot the cpu % above 1200. Finally makes the 12 cores sing. Although you know I'm more fond of Sony Decks but this worked for me.
