[Avid-L2] Re: Ama'd DVCProHD footage transcoded to DNX loses time code at end section?

Just tried modifying both start time and my old incremtent then decrement trick but they won't work on the problem clip. I get the following error:

Exception:CM_NO_SOURCE

Interestingly the sub clip I made of just the section that ends up without time code after transcoding will allow me to modify the time code like normal. The error seems to occur on all the clips that don't have a time code end after trancoding.

I just tried linking the ama volumein a new bin and I get an error message saying 2 file didn't link. That's the same number of transcodes without end time code. If I link by ama file to the clip itself I end up with a clip that is the first have of the spanned clip so clearly there is some glitch in how Avid is merging the spanned clip or in the files themselves. I should reiterate that when I initially link to ama volume other than the 2 files didn't link message the clips in the bin are for the entire clip length and they show time code even on the end section. Hmmmmmmm

If I try to link to ama file with the next clip in the video folder I get the back half of the clip that ends up missing time code once transcoded but the start time code is that of the original spanned clip when it should reflect the time code of where it picks up from the first half of the spanned clip. Double Hmmmmmm.

The first 4GB of the clip would modify time code but the subsequent ones didn't until the above mentioned trick. I'll give it a try and report back.
