I'm getting this error in MC5, has this been fixed in later releases? (I'm setting up overnight transcodes with a mix of AMA originals)
Exception: Failed to get the number of contiguous bytes from the AMA Plug-in.
This is what the Avid Knowledge Base says 1/2011
This error can occur when attempting to consolidate or transcode AMA media. So far we have seen this error occur for the following reasons:
There is corrupt audio in the AMA media.
The audio in the AMA media is LPCM (Linear Pulse Code Modulation)
In both instances, consolidating or transcoding without the audio resolved the issue.
Avid is investigating this issue further; if you encounter this error, please contact Avid Customer Support.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
