By "export" is that aaf? That sounds like what the Auto Duck pro import 2.0 will do with an Avid aaf. Is that like importing an aaf in Avid where you end up with a sequence and all the clips in the bin? The process they have done so far was to export prores clips of all the clips in the bin. Would they still need to export the clips to QT .movs and then take the clips created in the aaf import into FCP and link them to the .mov's? Or will the trip allow for embedding the media in the aaf.
The auto ducked sequences they have brought back into Avid have had the audio embedded and that seems to be working but not the video. There goal is to be able to send the sequences out to an Avid house for finishing and have them relink to the existing Avid Media.
