You don't need an editor to setup the server. To access your footage that
resides in your ISIS 5K via internet, you will need Interplay server and
Sphere.
Interplay server software is hosted via AS3000 server. Sphere server
software is hosted using HP DL360 running Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Interplay will handle the project interaction (check in/check out). Sphere
will handle the real time encoding to the remote client.
The remote client can either be a full Avid MC or Symphony editor. OR it
can be a browser based (HTML5) client for simple screening, cuts only edit
and such.
