Jeff,
If the AMA with the Canon plugin works, it's a consolidate, not a render.
Fast and reliable, and the codec is pretty good.
For my app, it's CPU only, but it 'should' beat Avid. (And you can run
multple instances at the same time, but you need different input folders.)
